Hey guys, new to the site. Just purchased a 2015 GT Premium and still learning all the many options this car brings! I happen to see this video online today and wondered if this was standard or not? His tach guage color turns red (assuming when he redlines) and the speedo needle gets brighter as well.

Is this only in the Performance Package, or anyone verify?

Here's the video:

Only if you have the premium 401a package.

Correct. You cannot change to a specific rpm at which the cluster turns red. And of course if you have the cluster color already red, you won't see a change.

Hearing his turn-signal made me chuckle. Video makes me wish I would have saved up a little longer to buy a custom 16 GT instead my EBM.

You needed the 401a? I thought it was on all gt premiums as it was not mentioned anywhere in what the 401a package includes.

I was wondering why i couldnt find an option for it in my car. If i knew i would of gone 401a since i was already borderline wanting the bliss and memory seats.

I had not paid any attention to this happening. I will have to look now.

I don't think you need 401a. Pretty sure mine does it. Seems to me it will only work if your lights are on - I could be mistaken though.

This is not entirely true. It does go brighter than the red so you notice a change. Just an FYI.

You don't need the 401A, all premiums have that shift light feature. (mine does). GTBOB is right, it will only work as long has you have your gauge clusters set to any color other than red. On top of that, it is set from the factory to the stock redline, I have a LUND tune which has a higher redline and it still turns red at the original RPM.
His blinkers sound like he has LED switchbacks installed.

I actually never noticed it does that! I will have to give it a try tonight.

I will point out that I have the red lighting set but my cluster and GPS is not very bright.

But, yes, it will light up inside the RPM cluster or so that is what I remember. It surprised me when it happened!
