Some car issues, wondering if anyone else had them as well?

Ever since I got the car it was super smelly when manually shifting above 4K RPM or anything at WOT.
Originally I thought it was due to exhaust breaking in but it’s been consistent for the past 5000 miles now.
Recently the cars started to shake and jitter, like clutch chatter, when I go into reverse without throttle. Reminds me of when I first learned how to drive a manual. See attached video, it’s pretty quiet from the video, louder in person.

Silly question, but have you taken it to the dealership? What did they tell you?

“hard to diagnose something that isn’t completely broken, if it’s driving fine under normal conditions you may have to wait until a failure. We haven’t worked on any 500s yet.”

Damn, talk about being set up for failure, literally. Hope someone here can chime in.

That sounds comforting, look for another dealer, waiting for a failure. Would not take any car to folks that NEVER work on one. :computerrage:

That's the worst, but to be fair honest excuse I've read yet...

You could try calling either Pierre Ford in Seattle or Harris Ford in lynnwood, wa (same ownership for both). They have sold a lot of gt500’s and ive heard their service dept has worked on quite a few of them. Maybe with your video they could give you some clues over the phone.
