Solo Performance Mach Thunder Catback

Hey everybody. I currently have a Solo Performance Mach Thunder catback for sale. I put it on my car in March and had it on until July. I loved it as a catback. Only reason why I took it off is because I'm going full Kooks eventually once funds free up. This system is loud but very manageable. Great sound when cruising and very mean at WOT. Looks like you put the clamps on incorrectly. The smaller clamps are for the tail pipes. The band clamps are for the axle back to xpipe connection.

Definitely. But it probably didn't seal very well at the x-pipe.

I emailed Solo on this as I think the design of the axle back pipes to the x-pipe should be the more standard compression style with clamp vs. band clamp to seal.

Otherwise yes, anyone who buys this will be very happy with it.

So where does this particular version/model stand on Solo's scale of loudness? Is this the "quieter" one?

MACH XV is the quieter one, but it isn't all that quiet. Thunder, which I've also had, is pretty dang loud. Street Race is basically a straight pipe so... loud as fuuuuuu.

I don't see that being necessary as the pipe slides over the other, but I guess it can't hurt. I am totally fine with what was provided... have no issues. I've seen far, far, far, far worse.

Had this exhaust on my 15. If I hadn't totaled it, I would have stuck with this car back. It's a nice deep exhaust. GLWS
