Looking good! More fuel to feed that beast.

What do you use to clean your impellars and surrounding areas from the use of the inlet guard? Going that route myself. Can you spray some sort of carb cleaner around it? Lastly, who works on your car? What shop do you recommend? And here are some recent pics of the car. Enjoy. Had to screen shot the original pics because original resolution made the pics “too big” to upload.
I also would like to go to a 3:31 oppose to the 373 equipped PP s550. Gear is way to short. Id like to enjoy the Boost a bit more and a bit longer.Little update iron 3.31 geared diff just went in, out with the fatigued 3.55 aluminum one
I don’t really clean that area all that much. I take off the turboguard and wipe it with a moist microfiber, same for inlet area. Haven’t really taken the car to a shop in a long time. Buddy of mine that’s a ford asset instructor is the one with his hands on it.What do you use to clean your impellars and surrounding areas from the use of the inlet guard? Going that route myself. yea if you remove the wheel and well liner you can remove it from the blower and bring it out through the wheel well. But be careful your valve covers might be vented into that intake tube.So you need to change the way you ventilate the crankcase to a vented catch can or breathers. As for the Intake tube and filter, did you remove it from the engine bay in order to replace it with the Inlet Guard?
PM me and we can talk about what options you have if you want to remove the inletGood to know. When my tuner loosened the intake tube while on the dyno there was a tiny bit of oil residue around the edge right before the impellars. Is this a way.of knowing? I dont have a catch can at the moment. I was hoping I could just remove the tube and install the guard without any other modifications. Am I missing something here? sorry for all the questions.
