I like the idea of driving out I-10 and then we can cruise through Joshua Tree. I did a quick look at Google maps and it looks like a nice paved hwy runs throughn Joshua Tree National Park. Ill look at it some more, but does anyone have any expperience on these roads that run through Joshua Tree?

Chuckwalla raceway is out off the 177.....but that might be too far out.

I've never been through Joshua tree state park, but it looks like it would be fun. The only thing is, it seems like the drive would be more like a scenic low speed cruise. I envision a slow A$$ VW bus around every corner! LOL!:lol: .....but count me in anyway.
