I was going to add some pics I took, but apparently my iPhone takes pic files too big to be posted.

It was fun meeting everyone and seeing all the cool ponies. I think I had the only ragtop there. I enjoyed a nice topless cruise back to the IE after I left the Palomar area.

After the sad event, I parked down and across the street while reports were taken, etc. Denny from LA (new blue Fiesta ST) and I finally walked back up the hill to so see if anything else was needed. So when we headed out the main pack had already gone ahead. We did get to the Palomar climb and went most of the way up. But as we didn't see the rest of you and visibility started disappearing in the rain and fog, we headed back down and had lunch at a nearby cafe. It cleared up enough for me to head back home with the top down. The rain hit in San Bernardino just as I was arriving home. Perfect timing.

All in all, in spite of the tragic events, it was a nice day with a friendly bunch. Thanks for leading, and inviting me. Take care all.

How long do you think it'll take?

Well the trunk pan is impacted, so I'm going with more than 1 week, and with thanksgiving coming up soon, I'm guessing sometime around the end of the month.

Just wanted to say I had a great time, seeing every one and meeting Tony. Its a shame what happened to those 3 mustangs. I hope every is ok and that they get their cars fixed. How did this crash happen? Just wet and 3 rear ended each other?

Conditions were dry. For the cause I'm going to refrain from commenting until the police report is completed and insurance paperwork is finalized. I can say that *my* insurance company is currently listing myself as not-at-fault, as I was the person in front.

It was great to meet you as well brother!

I'm having these meets every first Wednesday of the month. I hope you can make it to our very first one, I know its a drive but ask Grim =] it was definitely worth it. They shut down the whole parking lot for us and we did burnouts all night. It'll be a great chance for us or anyone else I met to catch up ;]

Crazy how the top of the mountain was cold and sprinkly while we saw dry conditions and partly sunny skies at the bottom.

Yep I needed a parka, umbrella & gaaaaaaas!!! Anaheim to Palm Springs would definitely be a change of pace from the mountains....literally! Count me in ( with a full tank of petrol)
