On Friday my car club supported the Danny’s Miracle Angel Network (DMAN) “Making Dreams Come True Cruise”. Every year during the cruise, DMAN asks for convertibles to volunteer to provide wheelchair bound children and young adults their own personal Cruise through the Dream Cruise. Convertibles work best because for a lot of the passengers, special equipment is required to lift them out of their chair and place them in the car. Not having a roof to navigate helps. Here are a few pics from that event. the last couple shots are of a passenger being loaded into my car.

Thanks for sharing. A friend of mine attended in his 40’s Chevy woody wagon. He takes that thing to cali and back and drives it everywhere.
Your pics are great, and it’s great to learn about helping the handicapped enjoy the cruise in a convertible. Very cool.

Curious to know how many actually saw the yellow pickup truck in one of the pics in the first post.

Although I moved back to Michigan this year I didn't go to the Dream Cruise. I thought about, and then decided it was just too hot to go and participate.

Thanks for the pictures.

Not Woodward but exit parade at SEMA 50th anniversary in Vegas 2016. Awesome time. Head was on a swivel for 3 days. :)

One of the few things I miss about not living close to Detroit anymore. Looks like a great time.

By special equipment you mean a $10,000 engine hoist?
