so many used 2020 GT500's are for sale now...seems odd to me, 76 of them posted on Autotrader alone.

I even placed a note he wrote me in Kindergarten (about dads cool cars) in the hideaway section of the glovebox, so he can find it someday and think of his old man.
Ryan: That is the nicest thing I've read here in quite awhile...thanks for sharing.

I like to disassemble things.
I would have married Sofia Vergara but she had a hangnail on her baby toe.

Got a kick out of the comments in this thread.
I had a 2016 GT350 Tech Pack.
Was all excited about the GT500, but although my name was down on 'the list' at the dealer, it was taking so long....
Then, as comments, reviews and opinions rolled in and I actually saw one (did not drive), I decided to sell the GT350 and get a 2020 McLaren 720S.
Now there's a track car! Unbelievably fast.
But I honestly missed the GT350, so I picked up a silver 2020 GT350R two weeks ago in Dallas.
The two cars complement each other very well.
American muscle with standard transmission, beautiful exhaust noise and great handling.
British rocket ship with DCT and amazing handling.

I cancelled the GT500 for some reason....

FWIW,
Kirby

Well I can say I have finally driven both cars and at speed on a track. No I am no track guy, I am at the lowest levels of novice...If I would compare it to WOW I am like level 10 when the level cap is 60.

That said, driving both, I can say I still like my GT350. Shifting gears at speed is just plain fun :) Now that GT500 was very nice. I have no delusions that is MUCH faster than my GT350. Going around the track with a prof driver easily proved that. But like i said, I am still having fun in my GT350. Heck, I wish my 68 had a toploader in it.

With all that, a decently not overprice GT500 would perhaps be in the picture, but I asked myself....do I need it now ? The answer is no. I am still having fun with my GT350 and in the end, that is what counts.

To be honest, your excellent observation is in line with the majority of individuals who have had the chance to drive both back2back and on track.

Getting back on track (see what I did) I think we can now answer the question posed by the OP

I own 2 Hellcats and Mustangs their is no way you can compare the GT500 to the Hellcat. The GT500 is a street legal track car period. You do not get that feeling out of the Hellcats. (???)
@IceAge What feeling? Can you explain what you mean?

The DCT is nothing like any American performance car has or has had. It’s radically different from an auto and manual It’s a love or hate feeling.
Please elaborate on the DCT? I ask because I have a new Audi A5Sportback with DCT, my first, and I really like it - but only when in S mode, when in D mode it sucks balls. But in S it's always in the right gear, even downshifts or holds gears as you would wish for.

That's odd, the majority of individuals I know that had or drove both at a track favored the GT500. Interesting.

I'll provide supporting documentation as soon as I get home from work.
