Love the 500, please dont get me wrong. That being said, it just was not unique enough for me. It has extra HP, but the Hellcats have more. It can handle, but the ZL1 1LE does that too. The 500 is an amazing looking Mustang, but for me it lacked the special factor the 350 has. This is by no means a 350 vs 500 thing. What you like, is the most important thing for you. I do beleive many people wanted the supposed latest greatest Mustang, and were left with a .... is that it feeling.

I bet very few of those were traded in. Look at the mileage on the vast majority of them. Also look at who is selling them. Lots of independent dealers. There just trying to flip the cars for a profit.

Please don't get me wrong. You just made it a 350 vs 500 thing regardless of trying to frame it otherwise.

I've owned both and tracked both. I don't need to plead to 350 owners as to why the 500 is somehow "better." The subject at hand is nothing new as we saw 350 owners do the same thing not long after it got out and into the public's hands. I loved my 350 but wanted more. The 500 delivered on all counts.

Simply people trying to flip the car for profit before the end of the year and 2021 orders are placed. Has nothing to do with it lacking that “special” feel for them.

The 2020+ Shelby GT500 is the most epic Mustang ever! It also comes with the most epic price ever. Some will reach financially to acquire one and then decide the huge car payment stings a bit, especially while the car is parked for the winter.

Wow the comments Oh the hate of the ones that have them. I own 2 Hellcats and Mustangs their is no way you can compare the GT500 to the Hellcat. The GT500 is a street legal track car period. You do not get that feeling out of the Hellcats. The GT500 is just bad ass race ready and truly drives and feels like a race car. The DCT is nothing like any American performance car has or has had. It’s radically different from an auto and manual It’s a love or hate feeling. The MEDIA marketing always gets the product like the GT 500 so much hype it lures the one time short term owner. And many reasons for selling these are just what I said. The Mustang is not an elitist car per se and the fit and Finnish give that away which irritates the Porsche type owners. Keep in mind the 100k car for the most part narrows the purchasers which typically this is the higher income earners. The GT500 will for sure go down in history as the last greatest ICE AGE production track car and for those who sold and or passed it up will forever remember they lived when she lived as well.
