Did a few upgrades over the last few weeks including having the car shot by a photographer. Will get info and pics up soon.

That is not wifey, but I wouldn't complain if she was. Ain't no way I am bringing her around some fly boy!

Couple more teasers until I can write up some info.

Looks good! Now send it my way and lets toss some more power at it ;)
The thoughts that run through my head.....
Love the looks of those wheels on that car, T...great combo...what model are they?
This is the Flagship Series ONE
Wow, that's one of the most beautiful cars I've seen. The wheels, the styling, the shine ... beautiful.

Really good photos too.
Thanks brother. My photographer nailed it.

I guess this is my build thread, so here is an update. Sitting at 4300 miles and two track days, time for some service.

Misc (11 of 18).JPG

I have a road map set for my GT500 to be an open track car more than anything. With that is going to likely bring more frequent pad swaps than most. The addition of the Racing Brake Carbon Ceramics that may change, but I like to be prepared. On my GT350 one of the best mods I did for brake servicing were the Caliperfexion Brake Caliper Studs. Engineered by @Epiphany and brought to market thanks to his his wife Patti. On this occasion I went for the 4340 CT10 to match my brake rotors better. Ford made a slight change to the knuckle compared to the GT350, so be sure you get the GT500 spec ones. These prevent you from having to run that steel bolt in/out of the aluminum knuckle and reduce the chance of a nightmare scenario with cross threading. With the addition of the stud sleeves you can also just slide the caliper out of the way of the rotor and never hang it. If you have not held one of these calipers loaded with pads, I suggest you stretch first.

The stud install is fairly simple and straight forward thanks to Tob's instructions. Get everything nice and clean, set the stud at the right depth, allow the thread locker to some time to set, and finish things up. Took this chance to install the Racing Brake street compound brake pads as well.

Last up was the install of the True Forged Expansion Tank. These are new old stock from his GT350 batch. The fitment on the GT500 is not perfect due to the intercooler lines and the size of the locating tab at the bottom of the tank that interacts with the shroud. However, I got this far and was not going back. Looks better than the OEM piece, and I will get some better pics of it installed later.

The oil change went smooth and no surprises. There are documented threads on that, so no need to dive deep here. Car was back on the road and off to a photo shoot.....
