So, I Bought Joey Hand's GT500

Have to say that I like the Racing Brake USA carbon ceramic brakes on my GT500 better than the OEM PCCB on my GT3.

Seems crazy, but the initial bite, modulation, and noise are all way better on the GT500. Porsche makes a high pitched squeal and the GT500 is dead quiet. Less dust on the 500 too.

The Racing Brake carbons aren’t cheap, but I have no regrets spending the money.

I got super lucky with this car. The price I got it offered to me at was well under market value. Plus I will be heading up some Porsche builds. So I kind of "needed" it.

Dream car acquired! Finally brought home a 2015 Porsche GT3. I’ve been a Ford guy forever but I always wanted a Porsche ever since the first Bad Boys movie. I can see why Ford benchmarked the new GT500 against these.

I kind of feel like I shouldn’t have it. I got tapped to help grow our Porsche connection at Signature Wheel and the cost of the car was extremely favorable from a friend. Otherwise it wouldn’t of happened. Looks damn good on our Precision Series SV705.

This is one hell of a car and I appreciate it a little more every time I drive it. 23 gallon extended tank and gets 20+ MPG. The car feels extremely nimble, solid, well engineered. Hoping to do some cool on track comparisons with my GT500 since both cars are PDK/DCT. There are some areas where I like the GT500 DCT more, recognizing a 5-year development gap of course. I still think I prefer the GT350R to all of them in terms of a drivers car.

Terrance, what is the model of the wheel on the 500 in red and can it be in the color of the ones on the GT3? Perhaps 6 spoke? Asking for a friend and would they look good on a Grabber Lime with stock sizing.

Got inspired to take the GT500 out today. Kyle Jones sent me a pic of his twin turbo GT500 at a car show this morning. Hadn't driven mine in a month with gas being outrageous. Figured if he could drive it with over 1000 hp i can drive my stock one.

Took a quick spin and grabbed some pics. Kid getting into his car stopped inthe middle of hte street with hs jaw down. As I was parking he rolled by and said it was sick. Mentioned he was trying to get a GT350 ,and I just told him to keep grinding till he does.

Hopefully this gets someone else to get theirs out.
