I'm 28, and I've had two GTPPs.

I have an extensive car and motorcycle list and still own some of them. I came from Miatas, and GT86, raced motorcycles and go karts, did some road courses as well, so I've always loved cars that handle well. I grew up around Mustangs but they were never the proper canyon car until the S550.

I started working for the government at 22, a couple of years after college, and I've always had a knack for numbers and finance, so naturally that's what I went into. I'm currently looking to add a GT350 to my collection. For a while I was looking at Nissan GTRs but they don't have the soul that a GTPP or GT350 has to me.

I grew up in a poor family, but I was taught values and morales, and I didn't go without. No one has ever assisted me in anyway financially after I turned 18.

55 years young. Grew up with friends who owned late 60's/early 70's model GTO's, Camaro's, Mustangs, etc.. I drove a 1972 Ford Maverick v6 which wasn't exactly what I had in mind... LOL... They are collectibles today, should have kept it. Got married, starting raising a family... Always wanted a Mustang, was really turned off by the late 70's, 80's, 990's redesigns... Was interested again when the 2005 refresh came out; even test drove one, but not the right time in my life and the first year (05) GT model seemed underwhelming. Fast forward to 2015 and saw the S550 refresh and was hooked. Have shuffled between a GT Coupe, Convertible, and now a GT350. Never considered the Ecoboost as it was not intended to be a daily driver and wanted the auditory experience of the big v8 rumble....Finally found what I was looking for.

Why? I finally got to the point where I could afford it. I'm pretty fiscally conservative and didn't want to buy another sports car until I could pay cash for it and set it up the way I wanted without any discomfort. I'd driven the Mustang GT a lot because Avis kept giving them to me as rentals. I liked it. But I did want a forced induction setup. My wife decided we needed a convertible (a small cost to get an enthusiastic green light IMO). We settled on the following:
the car (above)
GT350R brake package
wheels to fit over the brakes (19x10 and 19x11) and Pilot Sport 4S tires for those wheels
Roush phase 2 supercharger
possible additional cooling if problems are observed either with the supercharger or diff/transmission
ceramic coating

Here she is with only the wheels/tires done.

I just turned 50. I have a 2018 GT PP1 and had a 15 Ecoboost before that. I had a Mazda 3s before this, nice car but got bored with it. Bought the 15 because I like the looks the of Mustang over the Camaro and it's handling over the Challenger. It was fun but I decided to take it up a notch and got the 18. I like the sound of the Coyote over the V8's in those other two. Now, if they still made the Firebird, it would of been a tougher choice since I've owned two of those in the past. I also like the aftermarket choices for the Mustang and plan to do a number of things to mine like a Roush phase 2 and some suspension work.

Just turned 31. 2019 GT Premium 401a PP2. Got hooked on cars when my cousin took me for a ride in his SN95 drag car he built. It was a nitrous car wit a 433ci World block. It ran 8's on spray. I was 13 and he launched it and rode the wheelie bar after a guy in an Civic was talking crap at a red light lol. Never seen the Civic again haha. Went to a trade school for high school for automotive technology and got even more hooked. I've had a few cars but my most recent before the mustang was a 13 Hyundai Genesis coupe. Went to the tail of the dragon with a large group of Genesis owners and got hooked on the twisties hence the PP2. I got the Genesis in 13 CPO and when the S550 came out, I knew I had to have one. 6 Years and countless hours of overtime later, I bought my first brand new car and I don't see myself ever getting rid of it.

My build thread is here. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/scarlett-2019-ruby-red-pp2-build.120378/

27 but turn 28 in a few hours lol, my first mustang was a 2014 v6 that I got when I was 23. Last December I got my 2017 Base GT and love it, best car I've ever had and slowly my vision for the car is coming to life.

Just turned 42 in May and currently have a 2020 350R. Back in the day I had a 96 Cobra that I bought when I was 20.

Okay, I don't qualify, but I was wondering how many forum members under the age of 62 own S550 Mustangs.
I'd like to know your approximate age, rather you have an Ecoboost or a GT, and why you chose a Mustang.

I'm not associated with ANY company, marketing research, or any data collection firm. I just thought that since there was almost the same question for seniors, I'd like to know how the S550 fares with non-seniors, and why.

Have fun with it.

I'll even start out.

I'm 65+, I have a 2019 GT Premium PP2, and I got it because I loved my 2013 GT premium Brembo, but the 19 PP2 took care of issues I had with the 13's suspension.
I have a 2020 PP2, I’m 51, use to race mustangs when I got my first 1990 LX,

59.5 here, and love to drive my 18 GT 10spd, fast! IMO, it is an excellent high-speed car. Also, enjoy going to the local 1/4 mile track, 12.54 is my best so far. Even though I drive for a living, I have no problem driving around looking for roads to let it, and me, breathe!

61 years young and currently driving a 2021 GT premium with the PP . Traded my 2018 GT a couple of months ago. My first Mustang was a 1985 GT in burgundy with silver lower panels that I bought when I was in the Navy. Thought I was super fast until I got walked by a new Buick Grand National .

Got my first one in 2014 as a leased ingot silver 2015 EB premium, 201a, 6MT & shaker audio. I loved that to death.

Then traded that in for a lease on a white platinum 2017 EB, 201a, 6MT, safe&smart, &shaker.

When the lease on my 17 was ending, I could not find another 6MT EB to lease anywhere. I ended up going used route and last year I got a Shadow black 2019 GT PP, 6MT, premium, 401a, safe&smart, active exhaust, and B&O.

For all it's worth, I loved all of them, including the 2.3 turbo.
