I have flowmaster 40's with mrt h pipe drone like hell at low rpm and 55-60 cruising speed on roadways. Looking for something that sounds good deep tone and leaning towards FFRP touring axlebacks by borla. Does anybody else have this set up or also thought MBRP street catback. Can't see spending$1400 on catbacks but would love ARH headers and catbacks for 2000+ but don't want to tune yet. :headbonk:

I'm loving my magnaflow comp series catback, got them brand new open box off internet auction for $900. Give them about 1k to burn in and you will have a nice deep tone with little to no drone.:headbang:

IF you plan to get headers get a cat back, because you don't want the piping to have restrictions all the way through. Preferably a full 3" but i'm sure a 2.5" would suffice if you stay N/A.
I chose to go 3" Corsa Xtreme, because I know soon I will be buying some catted headers and want the 3" all the way back.

MBRP Street Catback here and I love it! I really loved that price tag too. Stainless Steel and still cheaper than the Magnaflows I initially wanted.

Nice loud grumble when you start it, loud deep rumble driving around town (2-3k RPMs), really screams if you floor it, and no drone at 65-75MPH! The crackling/popping sounds I hear when I slow down or downshift sounds so badass too. Admittedly, it definitely is a lot louder than I initially expected them to be, but oh well :).

I have the 3.55 gearing as well.

Corsa Exhaust does not drone. Driving it under normal conditions it has a deep tone. WOT it screams.
