At $69K??Agreed, as @2022 Mach 1 said, at that point just go for a Mach 1.
Really? That must just be your little secret then.".... This latest issue is being blamed on part supply issues unrelated to the chip shortage."
That right there is all I needed to read, to know it's bullshit.
The chip shortage is over, but that's still what they're blaming shortages on.
For some of us, it's because we have to have a top that goes down. I realize we are in the minority, but if you are a vert person you won't ever be satisfied with a hard top! Also, convertible option is part of Mustang DNA.Its strange to me how some people spec there cars. Like if your GT is in the 60k range why are you not getting the MACH 1?
Chip shortage isn’t over, it’s easing up but still far from over. If that was the case I wouldn’t be redesigning products at work because 3 ICs we use are out of stock for at least a year.".... This latest issue is being blamed on part supply issues unrelated to the chip shortage."

So, the goal is to die peacefully in your sleep like your grandfather, instead of screaming in terror like his passengers? He's just hoping you don't check out while driving the car........
I came here for this - you did not disappoint! So, the goal is to die peacefully in your sleep like your grandfather, instead of screaming in terror like his passengers?
They're blaming any type of material shortage when the wind direction changes and ruffles someone's panties.... Then because of XYZ, they'll jack the prices 50% and claim some other BS line - while in the same breath advertise, "sale, discount, sale" and just bring the cost back down 50% to the same level it's always been... So in the end, the Consumer did not "save" anything...".... This latest issue is being blamed on part supply issues unrelated to the chip shortage."

Gave me a good laugh this morning, thank you!Wait one more year? Are you kidding?
At 70 plus, I don’t even buy green bananas!
Never a bad choice.Got both my 22 Mach 1's under MSRP with first responder discounts and all I need to do is take out the charcoal filter in the intake and bam, there's my "tEn hOrSePoWeR" back. I'm actually about to sell mine for more than I paid for to buy land.
And remember, terror is a relative thing. Ask my wife…So, the goal is to die peacefully in your sleep like your grandfather, instead of screaming in terror like his passengers?
Yikes, my 301A with the 10R and AE (no BAP) was 37k.I’m totally with you. My 22 base 301a GT coupe was 44k on the nose with BAP, AE and spare tire. Exactly what I wanted and no more.
Similar scenario for me - got it all but the Recaro's and it's a great driving experience as a weekend and evening only summer car.For some of us, it's because we have to have a top that goes down.
