snow tire size?

I want know if I can fit a 255/55/18
29" x 10" tire on my '17 GT Premium with stock 18" x 8" wheel?
Offset 42MM.
Square set up. Getting a deal of course.

Thats a lot taller than a stock tire, 27.3" vs 29". Going to look like a truck tire on a 'stang, might rub the wheel liner too.

Not really worried about looks in winter. But thx it's not really worth the chanceI guess. I'll stop being so cheap.

Stick with the oem size of 235/50/18. You do not need such a wide and tall tire for snow.
