To those the drive these in the snow, how bad are they with dedicated winter tires?

I use UHP all season and don't have any trouble.

I used a dedicated snow tire in the winter back when I used to commute 35 miles each way daily. My wife has a front wheel drive Mini Cooper, and I'd much rather be driving the mustang in the snow. Never really had any issues. Nowadays I'm too scared to get hit by idiots, so I drive the Mini.

I am so glad I don't have to drive in that crap anymore. Actually, even if I was still working, I wouldn't have to drive in it very much. We haven't had much snow in at least 3 years.

Not bad at all. Just go easy on the long pedal from a stop and you‘re good to go

Proper winter tires (sized accordingly as well -narrow) and 350-400lbs in the trunk. You'll do better than anything out there with "all seasons" AND AWD.......

No pictures, but I've always used my Mustang year round. This year I put dedicated snow tires on. I have 2 sets of wheels and tires - one with the original wheels and summer tires, and then bought another set with all season Pirelli. I hate the Pirelli tires, wear quick, no real grip, and this year I couldn't get up my driveway with an inch of snow so replaced them.

Car drives great with the snow tires on it.

I also never put weight in the trunk, and never found a reason to do so. Besides, you put 400 pounds in the trunk and if something does happen, that weight isn't going to sit there. It now is coming at you through the fold down back seat.

How many "What ifs" could we add up? The weight in the trunk is more beneficial than the winter tires themselves.
