You've never watched Vehicle Virgins, have you? ;)
That's where free-will comes in - I have the power not to watch.... but I see what you did there.

They're going for over MSRP. The one I inquired about was offered 10K over, not asked for but OFFERED by the client.
I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind can pay over MSRP for a Camaro given GMs history of deep discounts over time.

First few Z/28's likely went for over MSRP as well.......now many , many are lounging on dealer lots with low miles and no one is buying...I could be wrong and maybe the ZL1/1LE will command 350R prices.....time will tell.

Quick Autotrader search:
- '15 Z/28 213 Miles $51,900
- '15 Z/28 167 Miles $49,991
- '15 Z/28 16 Miles $48,595
- '15 Z/28 952 Miles $44,995

That's just the ones under 1,000 miles......as I recall, new MSRP was between $70 - $75K.

I would normally agree as we've even seen the Z07 Pack basically go out the door free on new factory order Grand Sports but I have a feeling that won't be the case for this one. Unlike the Z28, the ZL1 1LE is actually getting scooped up.

NP, you're entitled to that...
Thank You. See, we agree on something. :amen:

... If you can do better, then do it. :tsk:
Whether or not I (or anyone else) "can do better" is irrelevant and defers from the question as to whether or not his vids are worth viewing.

Your welcome for the clarification ...

... maybe you could elaborate a little more on your dislike for Matt.
Juvenile, immature, pointless, unrefined, etc., etc.

I have a feeling MotorWeek is more his style. Zzzzz
I have a feeling boring posts are the style of too many people. Zzzzz

Which part of his review do you disagree with?
As I previously stated, I stopped watching him years ago. For what I disagree with, see my comment above.

So the real question. What sources do you look to for car information?

I am not sure why Matt even mentioned the GT350R when it was supposed to be a ZL1 1LE review. Maybe be was confused.

I actually thought about possibly waiting on getting one next year when GM discounted them prior to recently getting my 350 track pack. Although I don't drive my car as much as others, the 1LE appealed to me as not being an everyday car like my 350. Him bouncing around in the car was eye opening at least to me. Don't think I would enjoy the drive nearly as much and the wife would not be happy riding in it if I had chosen to get one. Doesn't seem like a car for just tooling around in for an afternoon drive. That being said, it is an impressive car for the money. The standard ZL1 was an option, but the 350 won me over. Our choices only have to make sense to us; no one else.
I think all of that bouncing around he did was just his fat bouncing.

Car just does nothing for me.

The Dive Planes are just FUGLY. I know they are functional, but they just look goofy.

As far as I can tell, those are just standard dive planes that are on other cars. Nothing special.

It's going to completely depend on the aero characteristics of the car. So until you can windtunnel any of that for yourself, you might want to consider other perspectives like that GT350R wing doesn't do anything. But Ford claims more downforce than a GT3.

I'm sure they do exactly what they were designed to do.
