I love my Bullitt, but am getting tired of driving it slow......... So much better at go to jail speeds.......... Really thinking of getting into an early 90's 911S and enjoying fast and slow...............

have you tried not driving it slow?
Of course............. I do so every day......... Legal speeds are slow, and I find the car boring........ Is not much fun slow............

4 words… Time to track it.
I'm 59, track days were in my 30's and 40's........ I'll wreck or break the car or me... lol.

The dilemma.......... I have a 76 Porsche that is a blast, but is old, collectable, and has no AC no creature comforts, and is a blast to drive, but I never felt this in my M3. Was a blast and composed fast or slow. The Bullitt is fine, but really only enjoyable fast and pushing it.............. I had the same problem with my FJR 1300............. Bored to tears on it. Bought a Moto Guzzi Norge, and was IN LOVE immediately..........

So, what is the Moto Guzzi (yes pronounced Gootsie) of cars?

I get your frustration. I had a 09 Z06 making 551rwhp and was just a pinch over 3000lbs full of fuel. Top of 2nd gear was 85mph with 3rd being 120mph. Just driving it around town or the occasional sunny day slow was boring.

My current GT with the A10 is far more fun because you can rev it through multiple gears without speeding too egregiously.

Keep the Bullitt for “fast” days. Buy a FiST for around town and push it to the hairy limit….you’ll be having fun slow. Get bored, upgrade the turbo. Get bored again, you’re back in the saddle w your Bullitt.

Way back when, I had a Fiat X19 1500cc 5 speed. Granny in a Corolla could beat me but boy that car FELT fast. Was always a joy to drive and never got me into trouble.

Drive a mid 90's M3 or 911 and get back to me...... You'll understand
i get it, you want a tossable lightweight car that needs to rev out to have fun.
this is honestly why i considered not getting the GT.

the GR86 is that, though, so if you can't find something in the vintage you require... that's always an option.
