I would not say it was a walk in the park at all. The points you have to make are things that it would be very costly or impossible for them to correct like paint repairs or engine numbers changes. Couple this with time taken to repair as you want it to get up to the six week mark of your car being off the road to consider it to be a Major Failure via the consumer laws triggering replacement or refund.

I am happy to talk more about it in a pm nut not in a open forum.

It will be a used car, so people will have lower expectations.
If it is fitted with a replacement engine, the replacement may even come stamped with the original engine number, and the original will be destroyed after inspection and diagnosis when sent back to Ford in Melbourne.
