Did some research on the car over the past few days. Cut the decision down to the 15 6g, and the 15 370z. After seeing the Mustang in person, I went ahead and pulled the trigger this morning. I compared the prices, along with the options, and came to the conclusion that the Mustang gave a lot more bang for the buck. Especially when it comes to aftermarket parts and upgrades.

I will be picking my new car up tomorrow. I'm happy with the price $31477, Auto, Equip package 201A, Voice Navigation System, Active Anti Theft System, 7yr. extended warranty $1400 w/$0 deductible, Tax/Tag/Title $343.

Total, $33220 minus $2000 Dp and $500 dealer discount. $30720 financed @ 4% $5600 interest, I'm happy!

Comparably equipped 370z, $37970 to start, and rising with similar options. Just wasn't worth it, plus now I get a real trunk.

Looking forward to enjoying the new car.

To be fair, you should be comparing a 370Z to a GT not an ecoboost.

Which is closer to the 370Z's 333hp.

EB with 315 HP
GT with 435 HP

The EB is the more accurate comparison being only 18hp being the Z (and with a EB after market tune it actually pulls closer).

You don't just look at horsepower. The 370z is a much smaller car and weighs a lot less. The Mustang is a boat in comparison. Power to weight would mean comparing with a GT.

Finally got my baby home. Now starts the slow process of what I like to call, "clean look mods". Tint, black wrap on roof and wheels/tires.

My gift was an additional $1250 in rebates that I was unaware of, on top of the $750 and x-plan that I was expecting... oh, and a x-mas card.
