I hate most aftermarket wheels. Here's some of more shots of my SV902's
Thanks man. I went with then because of the stockish look lighter then stock and show off the BIG breaks :-)I hate most aftermarket wheels.
However, those look very nice and flow well with the car.
They look like they should/could of come on the car new.
Looks great!
Car is freaking gorgeous broHere's some of more shots of my SV902's
Leave it to Terrance to have another multiple swiper post of beauty. Not to be confused with a multiple wiper........Performance Demands Change: Friction Lock
With the advent of the GT500 and a return to Drag Racing we at Signature started to see how effortlessly cars can get into 4-digit horsepower. At that level you are always fighting traction. In road racing environments our anti-slip bead knurling was successful in increasing the coefficient of friction between the rim and tire, but recently found high horsepower cars can exceed its capabilities with hard straight line launches.
Knowing more was needed, We redeveloped it’s application and presenting to you our new Friction Lock. This revised system no longer has coating over the grooves cut into the barrel where it meets the bead. The grooves are also spaced wider/deeper to allow for a stronger zipper like effect with the tire. Making it more effective for drag racing and road racing applications.
For those pursuing road racing efforts we highly recommend it on all four rims since hard acceleration, lateral grip, and hard braking can induce tire rotation on the rim. Those seeking to drag race can have this added to the rear wheels only.
Those are Brushed Bronze TintedWhat color is this wheel?
Thanks J. The cool thing is we can react to what is happening and provide the best solutions as soon as possible.Leave it to Terrance to have another multiple swiper post of beauty. Not to be confused with a multiple wiper........
Great job buddy, I am sure a lot of people will take advantage of these.
Good point J. We currently offer 17” and 18” wheel options in most of our designs. Including The ability to modify them for a bead lock if desired. On average our wheel designs will weigh less than a Billet/Weld of the same size, and we actually test/certify the wheels to the JWL/VIA standard. Most of the Billet/Weld options are not certified for road use.Ok, I’ll play and call out the elephant in the room.
You want to talk drag then you need to offer 17” and 18” sizes as well as some skinny front runners.
T and I have talked several times and I’d like to have a set of his wheels one of these days, but big power guys use 17” rears (or 15”, occasionally 18”) and matching skinny wheel up front.
I have several cars that are drag focused and run Welds and Billet Specialties.
I don’t think I’ll be going that direction with the new GT500, but this may be the car I’ll order Signature wheels for and I’d definitely get this technology added to my rears for drag radials or R888s either way.
I’d love to see my upcoming turbo Coyote LX have 17x4 and 17x12 and 15x12 Signatures in a custom finish.

KB! I love it man. Looks fantastic. Can’t wait to get you some more of the shorties to complete the look. Appreciate you doing some testing for meWell now, I sure can't compete with the last two photographic posts but I know Terrance will be happy to hear that I FINALLY got the Ti lug nuts installed on the front wheels at least. Another identical set is on its way for the rears.
Picked up the requisite ARP thread lube and torqued to the "generally-accepted" 125#. Took a test drive and wonder of wonders, not one of them fell off. :-)
I sure do like the looks of 'em over the OEM versions and I swear it turns faster. <chuckling>
Additionally, I picked up a set of three protective lug nut sockets and now I won't have to sweat those damn wheels with steel sockets. Photo of these after the wheel shots.
