Side mirrors - amount of retraction?

Noticed that the passenger's side mirror retracts much more than the driver's side. Is this normal or is mine faulty

Normal. I believe it's to do with the fact the set up is the same as LHD cars and wasn't changed for RHD where you would want the road side mirror to fold in the most

Thanks, makes sense but wish they had modified it for RHD

Yeah, Ford didn't do a complete RHD conversion job.

Mirrors, handbrake, smaller headers as a compromise for steering column, are a few items that immediately spring to mind. But there are more.

If you actually measure (relative to the A pillar) you'll notice that the left mirror is actually further back than the right mirror. Weird.
