I love this car, it's just so agile and responsive to the steering. And even with the base 2.0 EcoBoost, it has a lovely growl to it and a pop/crackle from the exhaust under heavy throttle.

If they ever make a 4 door Mustang I hope it looks like this!

That color is beautiful. I feel it looks great on the Mach 1, especially with the hood graphics. That is the only shade of green I have ever liked, and the sun really brings it out. Lucky you guys in SoCal get a lot of it.

Thanks. I agree with this green.

young at heart - I actually bought this kit off of Amazon(see below) and am doing myself. A neighbor who used to do this type of work suggested this product and so far I have been very impressed by the results and how easy it is to apply. On my previous car, I used a product that was $600, and honestly, I can't really tell any difference except this is much cheaper . Since my car is new, I didn't have to do as much prep as I did on my 19' which helped a lot. If you have had your car a while, you would need to go through a few steps in order to prep the surface for coating. You want it to be a good as possible before applying similar to a paint job is only as good as the prep. I know some will scoff at using this because it's not the expensive ceramic coating. but for what we have, I think it works great.

Thanks for the pro tip!

I actually got a quote from a guy in Cumming and although my car was going to need little to no correction his quote pretty much left me bleeding from the eyeballs! I have no doubt his work would be top shelf but at some point you could pretty much afford to have the car wet sanded and clear coated every couple years. He did have a show car and a celebrity car in house but Iā€™m no celebrity so thereā€™s that.

Theres only one person it should matter to and that is you! I received a couple of bottles of ceramic coat from Chemical Guys and have never opened them. Iā€™m just old school.. Did my own paint correction and then polished and waxed it and it looks like new.

ā€œInstalled Shineā€ (DFB5.0:)) yesterday, another car I detail often, sometimes twice a summer. Itā€™s a well kept car which makes my job easy!
