Went to a car show today and left a little early and went for a ride because the weather was just perfect. This is the kind of day I fantasize about when I’m snow blowing in the middle of February! When I got back home the car was filthy. Had to clean it before closing the garage door.
Spent a little extra time and machine polished it. I’ll sleep well tonight!

Went to Bakers in Milford on Sunday. Saw my first love. I had one just like this one brand new in 1984.

She just came back from the vinyl/tint/PPF/ceramic place and is all shined up.

You guys have inspired me to get off my ass and start taking this one apart.

If I can strip all the plastic off and the body from the chassis I can ask the Bodyshop that did my hood paint and install to see if they can hit it with a spray of Carbonized Grey!

I never thought about doing that. Good idea. It’s the only way I’m ever gonna have a need for green diecast model.

NICE!! I have to ask and not to get off topic from S550’s here - but what’s the drivetrain? Is it all Ford steel?

Drivetrain is 350 Chevy, 350 auto and it’s all steel. It was painted 27 years ago. I’ve owned it for 34 years. I had two 33 fords for 14 years, sold the burgundy one to build the garage. That was steel body with glass fenders.
