Just wanted to share a very positive experience tuning my 18' GT A10 Premium car with Torrie at Unleashed Tuning.
I asked him for a 93 and E85 tune with the following requests added to the normal "performance tune":

    1. Aggressive timing (within safe limits) on E85 in all rpm and throttle inputs
    2. A10 up shifts in 1,2,3... pattern in "D" normal mode (firm and no skip shifting)
    3. A10 WOT up shifts at 7600 rpm
    4. A10 downshifts in "D" normal mode to stay the same i.e. the car has sport + up shifts and normal mode downshifts which is what I wanted in Normal "D" mode. I don't like the rev-matching down shifts in everyday driving.
    5. Mildly aggressive throttle tip in/driver demand

Normally I self tune with HP tuners, but on this car I didn't want to spend the time to learn the A10 tuning or upgrade my HP Tuners to MPVI-2 ($300) at this time. Torrie responded with (4) separate tune files and revisions within 24 hours and everything is spot on per data logging. Car feels fantastic.

Given this is just a stock car with the requests above, but the tunes are solid and customer service is great. Costs are also extremely reasonable (no up charge for E85 file), especially if you already a handheld device, I had an old SCT X4 laying around.

This thread is not to bash any of the other tuners mentioned commonly on this forum, it's just to give earned praise to a Mustang community tuner who is doing a great job at affordable costs.

Interesting....Torrie told me that my X4 wouldn't work on my 2018.
    I asked:
Can an SCT X4 be used for an E85 tune on a 2018 Mustang GT or is a different tuning device needed? I would also want to have a 93 octane tune.

    He replied:
You will need a BDX instead. We have specials running on the BDX – buy 2 tunes get a third free as well as a $45 rebate and free shipping.

Just looked on the SCT website. It says the X4 will work well with the '18/'19.

Looks like x4 is now opened for 96-19 cars with new built in wifi. Do not know why SCT has two tuners doing same thing? BDX/X4

Doubt the older X4’s have built in wifi?

SCT had to make the X4's wifi compatible due to the EPA agreement I beleive.

Man that name brings me back. He did a tune for my Lincoln LS over a decade ago!
