Hi folks,

I've been busy and forgot to post here....

I got an email towards the end of the day on Monday. My car has arrived at the dealer.

I pick it up tomorrow!!! Talk about just before Xmas. Woo hoo!!!!!!

Here it is.

It's lovely. Drove it home about 60 miles, felt great.

Had a slight burning smell when stopping at lights. I'm guessing that's sealant, etc burning off.

I also paid extra to get the California Special side scoops added. They don't come as standard on UK cars and for me side scoops are part of the CS look.

Yeah. Worth the wait.

It's quite a feeling when it's finally yours.

I noticed two super small indentations on the bonnet at pickup. I think it may have been from transport. I mean super small and only noticeable under showroom lights. They said they'll fix it and 3 staff members checked and took pictures. So hopefully that turns out ok.

But yeah. Love it. Great colour, great sound. Not bad fuel economy to be fair - I didn't push it.

Can't wait for spring now.

I think I bought the last personally specced Mustang S550 at the dealership ☺

The burning is the paint on the exhaust, nothing to worry about, it’ll pass in time.

This :like:

Only you think it’s gone, then you ring its neck and it comes back again … :giggle:

My car seems to be missing the strut brace. Does anyone know of the California Special comes with a strut brace in UK?

Cheers
