Yes ship came on last Wednesday and the car was here with the dealer on Saturday morning. That's when my dealer called and I went there to take pictures. As I am away for couple of days so I will be picking it up on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

It's going to be a until sometime in March when things get back to normal

There has no Mustangs been shipped with wwl since weeks and there are more than 4.000 waiting for the steering weels from MExico.

I've in the same status you are in (between that notice and arriving in the Baltimore dock). I'm doing daily searches on the 2wglobal and heaps of vins around mine went to Baltimore last week for shipping this weekend. Looking at their build dates they are just on mine on before. I am so close to being at Baltimore but it has been nearly 40 days since build!!!

Once again: There is a huge problem at Flat Rock at the moment. The cars are build, but without steering wheels.
The employes at Flat Rock had to take holidays for two weeks at the end of January until 02-11-2019

The part shortage is steering wheels and they didn't get any in. They’re using dummy steering wheels and the cars they're building right now are immediately going out to the repair-in-waiting lot.

There's a HUGE strike going on at a bunch of Mexican plants near the US/Mexico border and I suspect that is where the effected parts are made. I posted about it in the Employee forum.

You figure they’re building 400 per shift right now without steering wheels (once they're parked outside the dummy wheels are removed and sent back to the line). They're going to have to fix ALL of those cars when they do finally get the parts in.

They have some parts, but only for the Lincoln's and the Shelby's.

2 shifts, 5 days a week. 400 is about right for an 8 hour shift. That line moves slower than pretty much every other Ford plant.

Based on the average 40 days it takes to get to the terminal, I would estimate they should be starting to arrive around next week (assuming after mine which, as I mentioned, hasn't turned up yet). My build was a few days before the messages started to turn up about shortages of steering wheels so I would again assume my build notice included a real steering wheel lol

I wish you all the best but I'm not talking about your one and only, I am talking about 4.000 Mustangs waiting for steering wheels at Flat Rock.
Probably yours has been build with one of the last steering wheels, that arrived.
What we now see, is "yust in time production" at it's perfection.
