Shelsley Walsh 9th October

Went down to the last Breakfast Club meeting of the year at Shelsley Walsh. Weather absolutely fantastic, as it has been every time I've been down this year.

Some lovely cars, as usual. A fantastic little Alpine, lovely Lea-Francis, a few nice Ferraris (including my personal favourite, a 458), Porsches aplenty. My car was still the only S550 there - I thought by now I'd have seen another one - and in the attention stakes it was still right up there after almost 10 months of being in the country. Took a sneaky photo .

Ha! .... in my defence the first couple of times I went I did announce it beforehand - and was joined by precisely no-one, so I kind of gave up.

But I still think it's a bit of a surprise that at least one other S550 hasn't appeared at a fairly well attended car event - there have been multiples of lots of cars that you would think would be much rarer, for example there were 2 Alfa 4C's there today, about 5 Audi R8's and 6 or 7 Morgans (not all the same model to be fair). I did however see another black S550 on the drive home just south of Kidderminster on the A449.
