Here's my problem with the Shelby Super Snakes, if you run the Vin, they come back as a Mustang GT. You run a GT500 they come back as a Shelby, you run a GT350, they come back as a Shelby. I have a friend that has one with less than 1500 miles on it. I believe it's a '22. He paid $141K for it, he went to trade it a couple of months later at 250ish miles because he really didn't like it. The dealer said there's no market for them because they are "just a fancy Mustang GT" and the Vin shows it as a Mustang, not a Shelby so theres a very very small market. They offered him $90k.

I wouldn't buy one.

For the price, and the VIN pointing to a regular mustang, you would be better off having a performance shop build you something.

800 hp out of a Whipple isn't exactly a lot of horsepower neither. Even more so if that 800 is at the crank.

New 650 looks good in this package though. Somehow looks lighter than the dark horse. Probably the color and the bright white stripe.

It’s for those that want the Shelby CSM really. Some folks value that. It’s gonna be pricey too I’m sure.

@HKusp I was told the same thing when I was looking at a roush even tho the dealers sell roush and shelby cars when you bring it back to sell they act like it’s some monstrosity and there gonna have a hard time selling it due to the vin so the low ball you kinda of a shitty deal. On a side not that’s one of the meanest looking cars to come out of shelby in recent years I just think they shoulda done the interior up more.
