Where he put the screwdriver is where one of the two spring releases for the airbag are…but yes I think the video is spliced. In slow motion the car looks to have a sunroof and the dome light doesn’t look right. Funny either way!

It was clearly a mixup of 2 videos - the a-pillar in the end is white and all S550 models are born with dark pillar and sealing

This video reminds me of a time that someone was replacing an airbag module on a dodge nitro. They didn't disconnect the battery and turned the module upside down and it set off every airbag! The car thought it had flipped over and *BOOM*. That one wasn't fake... but a very costly and damaging mistake.
