Good evening fellow enthusiasts and Shelby GT350 owners. We wanted to make this thread because we have been getting a lot of phone calls and tons of requests via Mustang 6G forum and media channels in regards to different size options available and also what the numbers look like in each fitment.

Currently available are the R-spec 19x11.0" front and 19x11.5" rear. We recently fitted a 19x11.0" front and 20x11.0" rear, and furthermore we have had requests for a 20x11.0" front and 20x11.5" rear which Bulter Tire has fitted with Vossen forged wheels.

Considering that all three setups have been done and nice photography is available at difference angels, this would be a great place to make your comparisons.

We wanted to bring it in all one place and provide every single detail for each specific setup. We did not leave any information behind, we have done the homework so you don't have to.

We value all of your opinions and appreciate the feedback we have been receiving since day one on this awesome forum. It is for that reason that we want to bring everyone's thoughts, ideas, opinions, concerns, comments, and preferences in one place. Please take a moment to go through the different fitments and images and cast your vote. We have used this same process up to this point in manufacturing Project 6GR wheels, and now we want to focus in on the exact fitments enthusiasts want for their Shelby cars.

Thank you again for your feedback, we appreciate it and put it work in delivering exactly what you want.:cheers:

Short anwser, those 20'' wheels fit great, IMHO, and those CG Series is really sharp.

Problem is I'd worry about the additional loss of riding comfort. Those skiny ass rubber band tires look perfect, but that ride must be that of a forklift.

*That particular wheel would look special on Magnetic*

Thanks for your feedback, the CG Series are really nice, custom built and fully forged. We have seen a lot of wheels com out of Vossen in the 10 years we have been working with them, the CG series is our favorite design so far for the Shelby GT350.

The difference in the tire profile in the 19" vs 20" is from 35mm to 30mm, which will make a difference, question is on the magnaride system, how much will make a difference is the question.

A good alternative is the 19/20" setup where the front tire profile is still 35mm like the factory and only the rear has a 30mm profile.

Definitely validated your thoughts on maintaining the ride quality of that to be better than a forklift

Good evening, looks like it is it so far 9 to 1 in favor of the 19x11/19x11.5 R-Spec, thanks for your votes, let's keep it going.

Here is a nice Race Red with the Satin Graphite 19x11/19x11.5 R-spec using the factory 295/35/19 and 305/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super sport rubber.

Good evening, thank you for your votes, looks like the 19x11/11.5 is still number one choice. Our container is arriving in about 2-3 weeks. Pre-orders are being filled really fast. If you would like to secure a set, please contact us.

My R spec set is on the way (Thank you N4S)!!

My question is regarding tire sizes. I'm gonna be fitting Michelin PS4S and their sizing isn't comprehensive. If I go with R sizing, I could have a 305/30 front, but would have to do a 325/30 rear, since they're not making a 315. The problem with this is the slight poke issue with the 325 tires on the back. If I try to go with the non R sizing, that also causes issues. A 325/35 won't be avail until April and there's no info on a 305/35.

Should I just go with the 325 and deal with the fender poke?

We have had many owners use the 325 in the rear. It does give you that slight poke, but does look pretty good with all that meat back there. :)

IIRC, the matte gray 350 has 22s in the back.

There was a type-o when it was initially posted on the forum however it was confirmed that the vehicle is running the 20x11 and 20x11.5 setup. 22" would be just too large for the rear.

Has anyone ran a square set up (305/35/19) for the tires on the R spec 19x11/19x11.5? Or would they look to out of place?

2nd this, or do you guys offer a full square wheel + tire option?

Do these wheels need spacers to fit the brakes ?

Thanks

Good evening, very good question.. we have not been asked before, then again first time for everything.

Here is the specs of the current setup on the GT350, looking at the overall diameter, and revs. per mile, it is very close and should work.

As for the looks department, image having a taller sidewall on the front..it might look a little out of place in our option, we like using the 305/30/19 size in the front.

Front Tire: 295/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Front Tire: Section width: 11.9" | Tread width: 10.0" | Overall diameter: 27.1" | Revs. per Mile: 767
Rear Tire: 305/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Rear Tire: Section width: 12.3" | Tread width: 11.0" | Overall diameter: 27.4" | Revs. per Mile: 758

Thanks for your interest, we will have a PM in your box shortly to a wheel and tire package. The Project 6GR wheels are a direct fit, No spacers need, No hub rings needed. TPMS sensor compatible.

We are able to remove 3.6lbs off of the front wheels and 6.3lbs. off the rear, for a total of 19.8lbs of rotational mass compared to the factory GT350 wheels. Additinally we are providing an extra half an inch in both the front and rear wheels.

350 PSS tires are going to be REALLY stretched on 350R widths... The OEM size is quite a nice/ideal/minor stretch as is.

My Forgestars are 25+ front and factory 61+ rear 19x11 all around. The reason why I did this was because I did not want to have ANY potential risk of rubbing since my primary focus is on the track and course. I know some of you guys have gone with a 50+ and all but damn I'd be very concerned about rubbing. I know they're R specifications but those PSC2's won't because of the way their blocks are shaped.
