Really, too bad as I just one hour ago sold the one I had listed in the classified section.I was dead set on ordering an aluminum one but looks like they have been discontinued. HERE I thought it might look nice with the other parts they offer in aluminum.
Has anyone installed a black one and can share some photos?
Thanks
C&R Makes Shelby's tanks, they are a great company.I've been happy with anything from Canton. I don't use this one but if I wanted one I'd get this and make it work before I bought anything from "Shelby."

Thanks for that link. Looks like they also have one in the same aluminum color. I will definitely keep an eye open for an in stock status.I've been happy with anything from Canton. I don't use this one but if I wanted one I'd get this and make it work before I bought anything from "Shelby."

I've run C&R's hardware on Mustangs before and been very happy. The reason why I put Shelby in quotes is because that's my beef - the tank isn't theirs. I'd get C&R's own version. I'd be more impressed if Shelby did their own. Then again, I did buy a differential expansion tank that they did for my '09 GT500 and it was the worst quality fabwork I had ever seen - until I saw another one a friend bought. It was even worse.C&R Makes Shelby's tanks, they are a great company.
Your build thread is where I saw it first. I went looking to see if it was listed but completely over looked it.Really, too bad as I just one hour ago sold the one I had listed in the classified section.
Thanks I will take a look.C&R Makes Shelby's tanks, they are a great company.
Moroso makes the fuse box cover & brake reservoir cover for Shelby. I agree, the bead on these rivals the best of themIf you have to have the C&R version I'd get on the horn and look for somebody that may still have one if C&R can't dig one up that they may have on hand.
From a fabrication standpoint, the Moroso tank has some of the nicest tig welds I've seen on these.
Would be better if they made an adjustable tang ( where it slips into the shroud ) for some aftermarket air intakes, considering the 415 price tag. Just a thought.
