But have you seen a non-shopped or prototype black GT500? same with white.. or magnetic. we have only seen a few real colors.Odd that I'm only "meh" with the black GT500. The Black GT350R with the matte stripes is my favorite for the GT350.
Looks very nice.
If you're gonna go this route, my suggestion is get a full paint correction and full ceramic coat at the least. Makes life with black much easier. I looked into full PPF but damn, it's over $7k. The ceramic coat with H9 hardness factor has really helped. I shudder to think what it would be like if I didn't do anything. Black would be a horror story and drive me insane with the micro swirls and scratches. This keeps looking better and better to me.
I'd like to see that son of a gun striped with the Lime Green, or Rapid Red or Twister Orange or Sterling Silver or maybe even with the Blue like they did the Black GT500's from 2010-2012....This keeps looking better and better to me.
I agree but this does look very nice in a understated sort of way.Like others have said, I think the really neat, unique to the GT500 details get lost on a black car.
I'm real interested to see it in Magnetic (don't think we have yet[?]). That would still have a touch of contrast vs. the black design elements, and it would look amazing with the red calipers and even the "gray" interior treatment. Maybe with OTT stripes in black, visible, but subtle on the darker gray.
you could have just posted the link to my picture instead of just reusing my content...
Yeah... well... well... white looks really boring on a Corvette...Black looks really boring on the GT500.
