Spent the day at Sonoma Raceway tracking the GT500 and the GT350R back to back. Going to do a comparison article for Driveline Mag soon.

Both cars are very rewarding and provide different experiences. To top it off I got to spend time on track with several other Signature Wheel bro’s

Enjoy these for now.

Must resist!! Wheels look great.

What’s your opinion on tracking the car with stock carbon wheels? What about daily use?

Those SV901 do work!

Stock carbon wheels are dope on track. They just have some draw backs in terms of caliper clearance and cost of replacement. I say grab some of our Signature Wheels to get the best of both on street and track.

Those are the Reserved Series SV901, and I got you in a 19” all damn day

Thanks Man. Hopefully I can keep up with you.
So, how was the 500 on track compared to your 350R?
Great pics!

wwo, great photos, from how the cars were positioned to the lighting to the the action shots. Wish I had a company large enough to have a logo in the background like that last one :-)

Those rims do look great - need a set on my Magnetic

The hook on the rear of the 350, it that a ZL1? Did you just off set it to miss the license plate?

I was thinking of doing the same. thoughts ?

Well then, we should definitely talk. Can’t wait to build something for it.

Correct on all accounts. I dig how it looks and would do it again. Luckily I have never needed to use I it.

Go drive that thing so we can get something ordered!

Family hauler, for now
Here is my PERSONAL take right now, and I have been a Mustang guy since the early 90's.

If money was no matter, I'd have both the GT500 and GT350. But if it came down to it, I think the GT350 looks a little better and it still has the manual transmission option. You can also find a lightly used GT350 for the low $40ks. A GT350 can make BIG power with just a few bolt ons. I think the GT500 would be my absolute dream car but the lack of a 6-speed manual really kills it for me (yes I know I am in the minority here, but I've driven DCT before and it's lightning fast but you lose your connection to the car)

Awesome story. I liked you said outright you were a novice, which is great. But the unbias towards both allows people to really look at both cars, if looking to purchase... Its a dream of mine to own a few different cars, slowly I am getting there; but my wife keeps me on track so I don't get us in any financial bind.

You can always throw a small supercharger on the 350r to get it closer to fighting with the 500.

Side note, if I'm ever back in CA visiting family, Ill have to try and look you up. Have family in Torrance, San Pedro, Longbeach and Sacramento.
