Senior S550 Owners Like Black Wheels?

64 yo. Grew up on centerline and cragars which were always chrome. I was going to order a antimatter blue gt with chrome 20s but went with the GT/CS with 19s black and machined. Happy with the look. Not sure if I’d like all black but this is a compromise.

If you're talking about the Performance Pack wheels, the optional factory Nickle paint is pretty close to bare aluminum:

Here with this color-combination I would definitely miss the contrast.

White / Blue and Silver rims, that doesn't look so good.

Just my opinion...

Been contemplating this very topic for days now. Have the 19” Polished Aluminum generally found on the Pony Option but been contemplating some PP1 wheels. Im 50 and after just going through the entire thread I was actually pleasantly surprised to see the ages. Guess I am gonna keep these on unless I find a great deal on something used nearby, they have grown on me.

I initially specified the Nickel Lustre wheels back in 2016 when I ordered my Mustang and was happy to pay the $500 price.

The salesman asked if I was surrrrrrre? I ended up changing my order a week later to the black option.

I think Nickel Lustre wheels suit certain colors better than others.

Actually in Australia the Nickel Lustre wheels were $4.3K Upgrade Option (over the Black wheels), The Forged Alloys were / are $2.5K.

I would take the Pony Package wheels over the PP1 wheels other than the width. Love the look of your car.

Thank you! I think these sit a little too far from the fender edges and will see how they look with spacers. Ive never been a supporter of spacers but many here run them and have positive reviews/results.

That's crazy. Mine came with Nickel wheels and it was just a PP1 optioned car.

I sold them for 1K with tires. I guess I shoulda saved them lol.

I made the reverse way .I was going to buy a velocity blue like yours but finaly i got a antimatter blue. On my opinion the black rims don´t match well with a dark car so i added a silver profile.
I love your velocity colour and the rimms too.
