OK, so there is no separate senior folder yet (and maybe there will never be), but this question is targeted at 50 and up owners. Do you like black wheels? It's fairly obvious they are more popular with the younger crowd.

I did not like them at all when they first became prevalent, but they have grown on me somewhat on cars in certain colors. (Mean look with magnetic.) Even so, I would only consider gloss black because you know when they're clean. Also, mesh style or any intricate spoke pattern seems pointless since it's difficult to see except up close. Black PP1 wheels come to mind. In most cases a charcoal or graphite will show the spoke pattern much better while still giving a darker look.

What do you think of them? :)

I have them.

I would prefer silver wheels, but the black is much easier to touch-up scratches and chips. Any glossy black touch-up paint will work.

On the right color, the black wheels look good to me. And I'm in the "Old" category !!

52 here - I'm a black convert. Detailed them for the first time last weekend because they had gone from shiny to matte. Silver wheels get dirty just as fast, but it's so much less noticeable with black. I have enough to worry about with black body paint...

I'm 67 and absolutely HATE black wheels. When I ordered my 2018 GT PP, I paid more to ditch the black wheels for these ones. I love the look.

+2. Well, I'm 60! My 2019 VB has the same nickel wheels. Love that look!

Well I’m 3 years short of 50, but I like them on my 18 pp1. Also love the BBS rs style wheel myself.

Nice! Agree silver looks better than black on ruby red. Although graphite and bronze look great, too.
