I've signed before and have written both my senators and my congressman. My congressman had a pretty decent response, actually.

Here's the real issue: people did this to themselves by bringing significantly more attention to the fact that people were using off-road parts on their street cars. Every bro that created a video of installing off-road headers on their Mustang and getting 100k+ hits is the reason. This is the ultimate in FAAFO. As a result, the enforcement of existing laws commences. It sucks, as we should be able to buy these types of parts for race cars.

What upsets me is that the manufacturers are getting sued over this. They sell off-road parts and clearly state "not for street use" and yet they are still liable? How does that make sense? Many are no longer selling these parts at all.

What i would do :
Headers only for race usage.
Street usage ? Huge fine.
