If when I got my 2017 (same color and options as yours) I had the option of buying yours for MSRP, I likely would have gone that way, so take that for what it's worth.

I took a couple of photos. When she goes to bed, I'll upload and write it up.Damn you!
Seriously, great news, good luck with the car, have I missed a thread with pictures?
Wow, that sounds great. Should have big balls down low that the GT350 doesn't. They can shove the "R" at over sticker. Personally I'm not buyin this flat plane crank crap. 5.0L with 12 to 1 and DI, forget about it, much better for my purposes. Who wants to wind up a V8 like a chain saw to get the power.Just remember the 2018 GT base comes with Direct Injection and 12:1 compression!
The direct injection should allow running much tighter timing and possibly offset for the 0.2L displacement advantage of a GT350R. And the new heads? yup...
It is strongly suspected Ford will sandbag the 2018 GT hp; but once tuners start putting these on the dyno, expect some serious surprises.
Little birdie says the Cobra Jet with the 2018 block picked up at least 70 hp with the DI.... Expect 2018 GT to be marketed as 475 hp with closer to 490-510 actual via dyno
Good luck cleaning those intake valves. :cheers:Wow, that sounds great. Should have big balls down low that the GT350 doesn't. They can shove the "R" at over sticker. You are correct in bringing up the issue that ONLY Direct Injection can be plagued by valve fouling.Good luck cleaning those intake valves.
Have you ever driven a GT350, let alone seen one in person?Wow, that sounds great. Should have big balls down low that the GT350 doesn't. They can shove the "R" at over sticker. I do... In fact you may as well start calling me the lumberjack.Who wants to wind up a V8 like a chain saw to get the power.
Funny that some here think $7K-$13K is a good price for a used R with 2000 miles??I just bought a '17 R today for 2K ADM.
