Bought our 2020 GT350 in February 2020, but we want to upgrade to a GT500. What’s the best way to sell the car or should we look at a trade?
Also, anybody have any recommendations on transport issues?

Wow my 2020 GT350 was delivered to my dealer a full year after your 2020. 😆

This is a great time to sell. You shouldn't have any trouble selling.

"Our" "We"?

Sounds like you need to keep both.

And I bought my new’19 in June of 2020.

OP... I’ll assume it’s paid for. Sell on this forum!
It may be worth what you paid for it.
Unless you don’t want the hassle, “always” sell private party. Dealership has to make a profit.

In Colorado, do you pay sales tax on the full sales price of the car you buy, or only on the difference between the sale price and your trade-in amount? If it's the latter, then depending on Colorado's sales tax rate, a trade-in might actually be the better option, depending on how much the dealer would offer you in trade.

Carvana, vroom, carmax, try any of these for top dollar, they’ll buy it off you.

I'd rec Car Max, my moms and I sold my Dad's 2009 SRT Challenger (low mileage) for 25k. They were salivating because of the low mileage and overall condition of the car. As mentioned always sell privately vice a trade-in.

I have virtually the same car. I decided to do a whipple upgrade and added an R. Didn’t want to give up the stick. You won’t have any trouble selling the car on your own. I’ve had two different individuals approach me in the last six weeks with cash in hand offers over the msrp mine was. Mine has less then a thousand mikes currently.

Currently if reading these (2) current threads in the General sub-forum, Vroom is offering close to $2k-$3k more rhan Carvana, but from what I understand based on the replies is you don’t get an instant payment from Vroom.

I was curious and did a quote on my 18 on Friday. Carvana was $49,000, vroom was $54,000. Vroom states we receive the money 2-3 days after they pick up the vehicle.

As I do this, I do not think any dealer would give me the 65K I would need to be able to get the GT500 at the Denver dealer I am talking to. Still waiting for quotes from Carvana and Vroom. CarMax wants to see and drive the car.
Dealership has a GT500 in Shadow Black coming in in 26 days that lists at 81K, but they want an extra 10K. Lots of money! Thanks for the input!
