Yeah, I mean, there are so many that have zero respect for other people's property - especially the 20 kids/drunks/whoever, that piled out of that mini-van. I figure, hedge your bets (pun intended ...) and try to compensate for other people as much as possible, i.e., park with only one side exposed, make sure you're as centered as possible, and when possible, park way out away from everyone and get a little exercise

100% agreed, but you can bet you bottom dollar thatsome idiot will park right next to you, no matter what you do. At least this is my experience!

I sure read all you guys loud and clear. Thankfully, some genius came up with the side-openings for minivans. Praise the Lord.

For those who partially film their vehicles and haven't done this in the past perhaps, my guy cuts me strips of film about 7/8" wide and a length that covers any exposed part of the door edge, i.e, the part of the edge that sticks out the most. It's saved me more than a few times when *i* was opening the door and in a hurry. But it can also potentially save a nick if you open the door into the wind when next to someone. Anyway, highly-recommended.

Thought the same thing and then figured, heck must be owned by someone who uses it as it was meant for has so much money they don't care. Though even if I could afford 10 of them I wouldn't park it at a casino. My gosh, pay the valet a $100 to leave it on the side somewhere.
