Yes it works well. Easy to mount and place bike on. Although the bike is pretty light.

Those are really common in my area.. lots of MTB guys roll up to the park with them.

I had to do hitch mount, can't imagine lifting dirty, heavy MTB up on top after 2-3 hours of punishment never mind all the debris on the bike coming off on to paint. This bike has grip studs in the tires, have to be real careful not only with car but exposed skin!
