So I got a tune from MPT for my V6, then trade in my V6.

Now have a 2019 GT and would like to use this SCT X4 on it, is that ok?

Is there a way to set it back to default, do I have to link it to each car etc?

Thanks for any advice.

Also, what is a good place to look for a tune for my GT with 91 Octane (Alls I have in my area) automatic.

I __think__ you had to "untune" the previous car to restore the X4 for use on another car, hopefully you did that.

Yep your right. This thing is dead then. Awesome waste of money. Should have done more research.

EDIT: What an epically crappy thing to do by SCT. 150 bucks to unlock a device, really. Thats just absolutely silly. I mine as well just buy a tune with device, its going to be the same damn price.

Oh, it is the same, I got the part number for like a 2017 V6 and a 2019 GT/V8, and they're both SKU # 7015

I'd contact them (I'm not sure about responsiveness given the situation), but I thought I read they could reset it for a fee[?]

Yeah 150 dollars. Just dumb. Thats almost half the price of the tuner.

I can buy a tune and tuner for 500. Or a tune for 300. So save 50 bucks and give money to this low down company, or just buy a tuner and tune.

I think just buy a tuner and tune and forget these guys.
