Maybe invest some money into the infrastructure to make it more reliable? Some might call it future-proofing especially given that storm intensity is projected to increase. Poles and wires on the ground arenā€˜t all that compatible with reliability of supply.

Might even create some jobs for the American people along the way. Probably union jobs at that.
Isnā€™t that what itā€™s all about?

Wouldnā€˜t a reliable electricity network that employs more Americans be a large part of making America a great country?

Cheap power often comes at a cost. It seems that you spent a week paying for it.

dang yā€™all taking a break or got tired of this topic :giggle: šŸ¤Ø
Hello; The covid topic is stalled for a time. I have laid out my stance with sources to back it up several times. Get the same spin and twist so far. I figure the points I have made are explained well enough., if not ask a question. There are some good questions ignored as well.
There will be new information from time to time. The topic is not done.

The global warming, EV's and other green stuff will start up from time to time. We are paying over a dollar per gallon more for ICE fuel currently as part of the push to " force " us into a "green" way to live.
The part of the push where the cost of running an ICE gets more expensive.

Iā€™ll just ignore the majority of that and focus on ONE topic.
When fuel prices eventually come down again, as they typically do, will you accept that you were wrong (again) or will you find some way of rationalising this to yourself?

Do you happen to recall the shortages that occurred recently? You donā€™t perhaps think that supply v demand might be a far more likely explanation?

You said recently that Australiaā€™s green ā€œplanā€œ (do nothing) was basically trash (I tend to agree).
Can you tell me why OUR fuel prices have also escalated under a government who are all about fossil fuels?
Iā€˜d be eager to hear your explanation.

For a man who doesnā€™t want to talk politics, you certainly throw a lot of shade.
