Follow the Money. It's all about the Benjamins. Who benifit from making every square inch of land and ocean front cluttered with Solar Panels or Windmill. Research and see who actually makes the majority of these, Any guesses, waiting. Not the USA? Hummm, And yes, the USA Taxpayers are funding over 80% + of the cost.

Yes the vaccine works. So does having the virus and recovering
Unless having the virus actually kills you, as it seems to do in vastly more cases for those who aren’t vaccinated

You‘ve effectively answered the question I was asking.

So you’re saying that if the US chose to go into the manufacture of renewable options, it wouldn’t be a conspiracy to fleece Americans of their money, and instead would be “job creation”?
Yes, I know that’s a ridiculous idea.

Have you looked at the stats? 99.5% recover.
I’m sure that‘s very reassuring for the 0.5% who died. Especially the ones who are dying right now, when a vaccine is readily available. One which it “seems” might’ve given them a 99/100 chance of living instead.

Again not sure what you are trying to point out.

One of my best friends who has never had any health issues is on a ventilator 1 week after taking the second dose of the vaccine.

She had heart trouble after the first dose and like a dumb ass took the second.

I know 30+ people who had the virus and none have died or have any lingering symptoms.

But hey, Aus is still locked down......... and The Olympics have no spectators.

Yes, that’s right. Most people don’t die from it.
All you’re doing is proving my original point even further.

Yes, right now roughly half of Australian’s are currently in lock down. Would you like to guess why that is?
It could have something to do with our conservative government turning the vaccine roll-out into a train wreck of the highest order. While America has more doses than it has people lining up for them, we have quite the opposite problem.

38th out of 38 isn’t really where any of us want to be.

Would that point be, lock downs don't work? I'll agree with you there.

No, they’ve worked just fine. Every single time we’ve had a flare up in cases, we’ve locked down, numbers declined.
we reopen, a few months later, numbers rise..,rinse repeat.
Which part of “the virus can’t spread rapidly if people aren’t in frequent contact with one another” doesn’t make sense to you?

So how many years are you going to be OK with this?

Sweden has it correct.

I would imagine (hope?) that this process will end when we hit a certain target for vaccinations, whether that be a certain percentage or a time frame of x months of vaccine availability for all that want one.
Eg. If half the nation decides they don’t want one, let her rip. Let survival of the fittest (smartest) take its course.
The unfortunate side-effect would be the loss of people who for health reasons, can’t take the vaccine.

What they shouldn’t be doing is allowing the virus to spread unchecked through a nation that hasn’t been given an opportunity to get vaccinated.
We haven’t even got our front-line workers vaccinated yet. It’s THAT dismal.

If people choose not to do it, that’s their call. The rest of us want our lives back at some point.

IE Sweden.

This is not the bubonic plague.

And if you expect a vaccine for every new virus you are going to be locked down forever.

It’s truly fascinating that you think it to be more plausible that there’s a global conspiracy amongst scientists, than it is that a gas that is known to keep the planet warm, could possibly be doing its job too well
.

It‘s genuinely intriguing.

Clearly lockdowns DO work. AUS and NZ are the case in point. However they only buy time. The only thing that does provide a route out is vaccination where unfortunately AUS have lacked a little.
