Hi Guys-

Does anyone have the --> Schropp Aluminum Strut Tower Brace for Mustang P/N# SW10044 on the ROUSH blown stangs?
How is the quality? fitment? clearance? I'm looking to purchase one of these instead of jerr-rigging the stock brace w washers or spacers. Please let me know your thoughts!!
Thanks Anthony

I don’t have that brace, but I can comment on Schropp Tuning in general. I’ve been to their shop and had them do some work to my car when I lived in Germany. Top notch people and they did a good job on my car. Probably one of the top Mustang shops on the European mainland.

If I was in the market for a brace like that I’d have no issues going with a Schropp part.

I'm going to be paying attention to this as well as I'm currently in discussions with a couple of shops for either the Roush or a Whipple and would like to have a strut brace after the install!

I don't like the hinge. It seems if it can move it defeats the purpose of the brace.

We only have 2 options as Roush blown cars. Schropp or going the spacer route and stock brace..

This bar will keep the strut towers from moving in and out but will do nothing to stop the car from twisting.

We will see. I may investigate the spacer route for now as I have the GT500 Hood so may have a little extra room above the blower.

That hinge can be tightened on both ends from the pics, keeping it solid. I think..

I have the BMR front lower brace in place and steeda irs braces as well to keep the unibody from twisting.

I like the way it bolts to the tower. If I had one I'd bolt it up and weld the hinge.

Thats fine, but my issue with the spacer route is not have the proper thread length at strut towers to keep stock brace properly bolted and torqued.
With the schropp brace it has beveled holes for nuts, allowing safe bolt thread attachement.
