Just wanted to drop in and say goodbye.
I never posted much but this site was pulled up every day at work and was the place for countless posts that inspired my mods. I want to thank you all for your comments and pictures and say that I will miss my Mustang. We truly have a world class car and my baby will be missed. She was fun on the road and the track but the time has come to move on for me.
I'm going back to what has always been my first love, Alfa Romeo. I got my first one in 1983 and over the years I've had several. She is Vulcano Black with red leather and has ever option under the sun...the Mustang will be missed but to quote Jeremy Clarkson, "You can't be a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo" and this will be my 5th one.
A couple of pics for what it's worth and again, my sincere thanks to each of you. Keep her shiny side up...peace

I really like Giulia , they did a fine job with it... however it definitely has a face only a mother could love . Still a beautiful car in all other departments , congrats!

It's an Alfa of course I will :-) I have a permanent callus on my right ring finger from trying to start all my previous Alfas but this will be the first one I've owned under warranty!

Gorgeous car. I've contemplated getting one as well but I just can't get over the ridiculous maintenance schedule in the base engine. I can understand it on a quadrifolgilo but the base 4cyl should not need a major service every 36k miles. But I do love the car, congrats.

Bust is a guarantee with Alfa Romeo, lol.
To my knowledge, the few issues reported with the Giulia have been software issues and not mechanical as they were fixed via ECU updates. Is this not the case?
