Say I buy a base 300a 18 GT

How hard is it to upgrade the radio to the ones in the 301, 400 or 401? The local dealership has a base exactly like I want except for the 300 and the small screen with all the buttons.

Hard. There is a long thread regarding a sync 3 swap for the head unit here

as well as plenty of threads with aftermarket head unit installs.
The rear deck speakers are easy to replace, the sub is easy to add, the door speakers are easyish to replace, re wiring the door speakers is next to impossible if you wanted to replace the amp and run larger gauge wire to them.
