Talking about something, I'm getting some cage touchup work at Autopower this week, and should be up at Auto Club Speedway this upcoming Sunday with a handful of other Mustangs. Feel free to come on by (I think the track charges like $10 entry fee) and hang out with a bunch of us and get some setup ideas and meet some other fellow Mustang (and non-Mustang) track rats. We've got a handful of garages, so if any of you do make it up, I tend to be directly across from the main registration area. If I'm on the track (trust me, you'll hear me) then I'm usually in the middle by my cop truck.

Nascar and the county have thankfully relaxed their covid stance, as you can now spectate from the seats overlooking the straightaway, and have passengers/ride-alongs, so if you want some pointers or whatnot, lemme know. I don't have a passenger seat, and even if we swapped in your seat, I don't yet have a harness to toss on, although I guess I could steal one from my Camaro if somebody really wanted to be scared half to death.

Thanks!

I talked with Robert today. He’s thinking 20psi all day!!
What do you guys think about changing out the rearend to 3.55 instead of the 3.73? I’m thinking 3.55, but want to get everyone’s opinion/logic on the switch
My trans is Ben Calimer TR6060

thanks

Do the math, I guess. I've done up Excel spreadsheets to get the speed by gear by tire to guide me in my quest for 4.09's. I also put 3 columns so that I could play with keeping the same rear, but going to taller/wider tires, and changing transmissions. I'm going with the 4.09's because it's a lot cheaper, and while I hate the gearing, there aren't too many tracks where you're going over 140mph (ACS, WSIR with power, BW in layout 25) and even if you do, a brief shift to 5th isn't end of the world. While I hate the gearing for road racing, the MT82 breaks more often than the MT82-D4, and as much as I'd love a TR-3160, when you toss the flywheel, clutch, slave, (driveshaft?) along with it, the costs just don't justify it. The sheet is auto calcing, so feel free to change things up, type the tranny gear ratios over in the 6th row, as well as type over the tire and rear.

The red at the bottom was me trying to shift at 7300, and the green box would be assuming I powershift and lose very little speed, what at rev it would pick back up on, doing my best to stay in the powerband and not lug.

Looks like you've got 6 possibilities according to tremec, and double overdrive like the mt82-d4 + T56 -- https://www.tremec.com/anexos/File/TREMEC_TR-6060.pdf

We got together in San Diego. Drove to Orange County. The cars n coffee meet up was at an outlet mall. I was told they hold it every Saturday from 8-11am. I’ll get the exact name for you later.
Bunch of Lamborghini, vipers, GTR, motorcycle, etc.
Some pics I took.

I recognize the place. San Clemente Outlets. It’s the best one close to me. Great cars.

Who onhere is up for a meet up? I’ll be honest, I have a colonoscopy appointment on January 7 and I would love to have a good time before Christmas. Let me know who’s up for it.

If you guys from the south are looking to cruise up, my friends are leading a cruise at the Chevron and roll up at 7:15 sharp -- 7737 Balboa Ave. That place is also e85 friendly.

Should definitely see a Mystichrome Termi, White Termi, new Red Hellcat, and probably 10 others. Most of them have like 700rwhp, but they won't call you names if you're not there yet.
