Summer of 2023. I am thinking about getting one just so I can put it away. I wish there was an orange. My only problem with the announcement was this car is coming out a year from now and everything they said is most likely not happening. I don’t see how they can make the dark horse only 15 hp more than the regular GT. They said 480+ and 500. That Darkhorse better be 550 by next summer.
So I take it the Darkhores is equivalent to GT350? I don’t believe media hype until I see it. No need to get overly excited about rendering and stuff.

I notice a lot of people talk crap about upcoming cars cause they either wish they had it cause the hit last years model…. The only mustang I don’t like til this day is the 94-98 models along with the 71-74.

I like the inside look of the upcoming mustang. Why not have a big screen monitor…..lol

One thing I noticed is that they said the DH would use the same crank and rods as the GT500. That means 5.2L, not 5.0, if they're serious.

The GT350 has 526 hp. The Darkhorse has 500?

So is there another name for what the GT500 would be?

Agreed on the horsepower. If the dark horse isn’t at least the GT 350 hp then why bother. I like that Tim said that it had the GT500 cranks. We may see a little more horsepower by the time this comes out.

“Mustang by the Bay” or MBTB

LAST DAY TO REGISTER Is September 25. No same day registration. Show will be held by the water, so it’ll be cool. Plenty of places to eat and shop that are in walking distance

It’s a great car show!

Unfortunately I’ll be out of town then

Also to remember, that this particular crank is flat plane. A 5.2L flat-plane N/A engine turning 8500rpm could be a pretty nice combo.

Btw, Papini's Garage is having their cars and coffee next week Sunday, Oct. 30th from 8am to 11am. I was at the shop today and that is what Robert told me. He said they have a bunch of GT500s lined up for the dyno. I plan to go with the wife and maybe a couple friends. Apparently it's been a long time so it should be a fat turnout

This is what I’m talking about. Finally. Barring any issues I want to be there. Do you just show up and park? Do they only let so many cars in?

I am not sure. It would be my first cars and coffee with them. I also didn't plan on bringing my car since I just made the trip there and back yesterday and the traffic and freeway closure made the trip just ok - a little bit of a hassle. Someone else should be able to chime in about the logistics

Is there like… a master list of cars n coffee upcoming events and locations? I’ve never been to one before and I think my kids would like it

No list that I’m aware of. I just search the Internet and the one I found is in a place called inland Wharf Brewing Company in Temecula who has a show every first Saturday of the month. So November 5 would be the next one.
