when you go to these do you just go to browse or do you put your car in there as well? I check that website all the time. Looking for something good. Some of these drives are quite a while for me but not too bad.

Heh, that's my usual Saturday morning jam, unfortunately I'm at WSIR w/NASA for the long weekend.

RSF is alright, plenty of high-end cars, and if you do it enough, you realize it's pretty much the same guys with the same cars. After a while you get tired of seeing the same stock Porsche GT4's and just go to walk and grab a coffee. Every so often you'll see something freakishly rare, and that's why I go... that and I grab breakfast after it

Are you talking about the Glider place on 79 outside of warner springs?

I'm certain the glider place is where he is talking about. I run these roads in the Mustang and the Porsche from the Temecula side. Great driving country. Awesome out to Borrego Springs out there as well. Carry water and fully charged cell phone. Some of this is in the middle of nowhere. lol

Great run - BUT it's the 79 - not 74 - that's goes to Warner Springs. Also, best done at the crack of dawn to avoid traffic.

And can you go fast? You bet - I hit 160+ in a C6 Zo6 somewhere out there.

No - too twisty and too much traffic going up to idyllwild.

The better areas out there to lay the hammer down are:

The 76 from Lake Henshaw to the 79 junction

The 79 from Santa Ysabel to Warner Springs (especially south of the junction w/ 76)

The 78 east of Julian to Scissors Crossing

The S2 from the 79 (outside Warner Springs) to the 78 (which takes you to scissors crossing)

The S2 east of scissors crossing to the Imperial County Line is fun, but the pavement has really degraded and will chew the shit out of your soft tires.

I usually take a break from the track during the summer as the car and myself start to melt when it's 120° outside so I'm down for some summer C&C events

So I received a call from the shop. Gotta say I’m pretty stoked. The car is supposedly together. Motor was primed and stft were adjusted. My builder said the motor was inhaling so much air it’s ridiculous. Definitely a super job on the head porting. The only thing left is to talk to RPG about break-in of the motor before making a pull.

Now I’m curious to how much power this girl will make. I’m hoping north of 14xx.

After that, I’m game for any meets.
